This website is provided for customers, artists, galleries, photographers, interior decorators and other visitors who want information about our framing services and related products. You must use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with other users, the operation of the site or the rights of Bright Frames, its staff or any third party.

You may browse the site, submit an enquiry through the contact page and use the information provided to decide whether our services suit your requirements. You may not misuse the site by sending false information, attempting unauthorised access, copying protected material without permission or using automated tools to extract content.

  • Do not post or send unlawful, defamatory, abusive or misleading content.
  • Do not interfere with site security, forms or connected systems.
  • Do not use the site to infringe copyright, trade marks or privacy rights.

2. Product information, quotations and service availability

Bright Frames provides custom picture framing, ready-made frames and related services for homes, galleries and commercial spaces in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Midrand. We aim to describe our services accurately, but colours, materials, finishes, glass types, mounts and frame profiles may appear different depending on your screen, lighting and the final artwork presented.

Any quotation, estimate or service discussion is based on the information you provide. Final pricing may change if the size, condition, mounting method, glass choice, installation requirements or delivery instructions differ from the original details. Service availability may also depend on stock, workshop capacity and site conditions. We may decline or suspend a request where the work is unsafe, impractical or contrary to applicable rules.

  • Measurements supplied by you must be accurate.
  • Special handling, high-value items and oversized pieces may need extra time or cost.
  • Ready-made frame stock can change without notice.

3. Artwork handling, collection and installation responsibilities

Where we collect, deliver, install or hang frames and artwork, you must ensure the premises are accessible and reasonably safe for work. This includes clear access, safe parking where possible, permission from building management where needed, and notice of any fragile surfaces, uneven walls or restricted entry times. In buildings with body corporate rules, municipal regulations or gallery requirements, those rules remain your responsibility to arrange before the work starts.

We take reasonable care when handling artwork, mirrors and framed pieces, but you remain responsible for confirming that items are suitable for transport, framing, mounting and installation. Please let us know about sentimental items, conservation concerns, moisture sensitivity, existing damage or any special instructions before work begins, especially in coastal or humid areas where materials may need added protection.

  • Remove loose fittings, valuables and obstructions before collection or installation.
  • Confirm wall type, weight limits and access restrictions in advance.
  • Inspect completed work promptly and report concerns without delay.

4. Intellectual property and website content

All text, photographs, layout elements, logos, service descriptions and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to Bright Frames or Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, reproduce, alter, publish, sell or distribute any content without prior written permission, except where South African law permits fair use for personal reference.

If you submit images, artwork details, comments or other material through the enquiry form, you warrant that you have the right to share that material and that it does not infringe the rights of any other person. By sending content to us, you grant Bright Frames a limited right to use it for handling your enquiry, preparing a quotation, completing the requested service and keeping internal records.

5. Limitation of liability and service exclusions

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bright Frames and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, missed deadlines or business interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including load-shedding, transport delays, supplier shortages, weather conditions, power interruptions, water damage, strikes or access restrictions at your premises. We also do not accept responsibility for damage caused by inaccurate measurements, unsuitable installation surfaces, concealed defects in walls or frames, or changes made by third parties after our work is completed.

6. Privacy, enquiries and communication through the contact form

When you submit an enquiry through the contact page, we use the details you provide to respond to your request, assess the work and manage the service process. We handle personal information with reasonable care and in line with applicable South African privacy requirements. We do not require you to provide unnecessary information, but incomplete details may delay a response or prevent us from giving an accurate quotation.

By using the enquiry form, you agree that we may contact you about the submitted request and related services. We do not promise a response time, although we aim to assist promptly during normal working hours. You are responsible for making sure the information you send is current and accurate.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in force. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, it may be dealt with in the competent South African courts.
